Our Story
Before it was a company,
it was a family.
A nurse and a physician — a daughter and her father. Rese is what happened when they decided to build the care they kept wishing existed.
Where it began
A real clinic. Real patients. The same conversation, over and over.
It started in Gilbert, Arizona — in exam rooms, not a pitch deck.
For 25+ years, Dr. Smith practiced medicine the old-fashioned way: face to face. Before that he rode a fire engine as a firefighter/paramedic. The patients kept telling him the same story — exhausted, gaining weight, dismissed by a system with seven minutes to spare. Meanwhile his daughter Sabrina, a women's health nurse of 15+ years, was hearing the identical story from her patients. And living a version of it herself — until she finally found care that turned her own health around.
The medicine to help these people existed. What didn't exist was a way to get it that felt honest — clear prices, a licensed clinician making the call, and a human being answering when you have a question. So they built it. As a family, because that's the only way they know how to run things.
The people
Two of us. Here's who you're trusting.

Sabrina Mortensen, RN, BSN
15+ years as a women's health nurse — advocating for women at their most vulnerable moments. Then she lived the other side of the story: a body that stopped answering "eat less, move more," and a health journey of her own that finally worked. She built Rese to be the care she wished she'd found sooner.
"I've walked this journey myself — and found what works. Rese is how I share it."

Gary A. Smith, MD, MMM, DABFM
Firefighter/paramedic, then board-certified family physician — 25+ years as an ER and family doctor, hospital CMO, and professor — with accredited CME/CE training in peptide therapy in clinical practice. At Rese, licensed providers in our partner network make every clinical decision — the individual review, prescribing, and ongoing care for each patient. As Chairman and CMO, he's the practice's medical conscience.
"Our standard is simple: we offer only the care I would trust for my own family."

The name
Why "Rese"?
Rese — pronounced REESE, rhymes with peace — is a four-generation family name.
It started with Sabrina's great-grandmother, and the women who came after her kept choosing it for each other — right down to Sabrina's own daughter. Today it's the name on the care we built for you. Not invented. Inherited.
Rooted here. Available where you are.
