FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

Skeptical of telehealth? Good — you should be. Here's every question we get asked, answered the way we'd want it answered.

The basics

Where is Rese available?

All 50 states. Our provider and pharmacy network can prescribe and ship nationwide — your assessment asks for your state so a provider licensed there reviews your case.

Who actually provides the clinical care?

Independent licensed providers in our contracted network — licensed in your state — make every clinical decision, from review to prescription to ongoing care. Rese itself doesn't practice medicine; your provider does.

Who fills and ships the prescriptions?

Pharmacy and prescription fulfillment is handled by Rx Ave Health, a licensed U.S. pharmacy. Everything ships in discreet packaging.

Do I actually see a real doctor?

A licensed provider in your state reviews your full health history and makes every clinical decision — a real clinician, not an algorithm. In most states there's no appointment; a few require a quick video visit, and if yours does, we'll make it painless.

Is this legit?

Licensed providers, prescription medication through licensed pharmacies, and you’re never charged if you’re declined. Born from a real clinic in Gilbert, AZ — not a pitch deck.

What will I pay today?

Nothing is charged unless a licensed provider approves and prescribes treatment. At checkout your card is preauthorized for your exact stated price. You may see a temporary pending authorization from your bank — that is not a completed charge, and if treatment isn't approved it's released. Release timing varies by bank.

How fast does it ship?

Once your provider approves and prescribes, a licensed pharmacy fills your order and ships it with tracking, in discreet packaging. Exact timing varies by pharmacy and medication — you'll get your expected delivery window with your confirmation.

What if the provider says no?

You’re never charged. Your card is preauthorized at checkout and only charged once a provider approves your plan. That’s not the system failing — that's the system working.

Is compounded medication the same as the brand-name drug?

It contains the same active ingredient, prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products — a real distinction, and one we explain in plain English before checkout, never in fine print.

Is treatment guaranteed?

No — and be wary of anyone who says yes. Payment never purchases a prescription; a licensed provider decides what's medically appropriate. If the answer is no, you’re never charged.

How old do I have to be?

18 or older. We may ask for a photo and government ID during intake — state regulations require providers to verify who they're treating.

Will it work for me?

Honestly: results vary by individual, and anyone who promises otherwise is selling something. What we can promise is real medicine, a provider who monitors and adjusts your plan, and straight answers at every step — including when something isn't working.

The weight program

What does it cost?

Flat and public: compounded semaglutide $185/mo ($555 for the 3-month program) and compounded tirzepatide $299/mo ($897 for the 3-month program). Founding pricing takes 15% off your first program for anyone who starts before September 1 — applied automatically at checkout, no code to enter. Programs are sold in 3-month programs — billed once, with all three months of medication in a single shipment. The price never rises with your dose, and it covers medication, provider care, portal messaging, and shipping. No consult fees.

Why is the price flat when other programs charge by dose?

Because dose-based pricing punishes you for the medicine working as designed. Titration upward is normal and expected — your price stays the same at every dose, period.

What's the catch?

The closest thing to one: everything starts as a 3-month program, paid upfront, so your provider has time to start treatment safely, evaluate your response, and adjust thoughtfully. All three months ship together. After your first program you have the option to order one month at a time. No subscription, no auto-billing, nothing to cancel.

Is this cheating?

No. Needing insulin isn't cheating at diabetes, and quieting food noise isn't cheating at health. Your biology changed; your tools are allowed to change too.

Which medication is right for me?

That's your provider's call, made from your health history. You can state a preference in your assessment, and your provider will tell you honestly if the other one fits better — or if neither is safe for you.

How long until the medicine starts working?

Appetite effects often begin within the first couple of weeks; your provider titrates your dose gradually over several weeks to minimize side effects, and meaningful progress is typically evaluated around month three — which is exactly why we ask for the three-month start.

What about side effects?

The common ones are gastrointestinal — nausea early on, especially around dose increases. Your provider walks you through what to expect, and you can message them in your patient portal so side effects get managed, not endured. Anything severe: call 911 first, then us.

What happens when the scale slows?

Almost every body adapts between weeks 8 and 12 — it's biology, not failure. Our Plateau Protocol starts at week eight, before discouragement sets in. Read the full explanation →

Peptides & NAD+

Are peptides legitimate medicine?

The ones we offer are — prescribed by a licensed provider, sourced through licensed pharmacies, and supervised throughout. Anything we can't stand behind clinically, we don't offer.

What do peptides cost?

Every peptide is listed with its real price on the Peptides & NAD+ page — no consult required just to see the menu. Your provider builds your protocol and confirms the exact monthly cost and 3-month program total before you pay.

Do I need labs first?

Some protocols can start from your assessment alone; others are built from bloodwork. Your provider tells you which applies — and if labs are needed, they're ordered before anything is prescribed, not after.

What about hormone therapy?

Physician-managed hormone care is coming soon. It starts with labs — your provider orders bloodwork first, then builds your plan from real numbers. Join the hormone interest list →

Men's health

How does testosterone evaluation work?

It starts with labs — your provider orders bloodwork first, then builds a plan from real numbers, not symptoms alone. If your levels don't support treatment, your provider says so.

What's available for erectile dysfunction?

Tadalafil and sildenafil as capsules, tablets, or dissolvable troches, plus combination troches and PT-141 for desire. Prices start at $5 a dose and every option is listed on the Men's Health page. A licensed provider decides which fits your history — you can state a preference in your assessment.

What's available for hair loss?

Finasteride tablets, a finasteride/minoxidil combination capsule at $60/mo ($180 per 90 days), or our complete protocol — medicated foam plus oral finasteride — at $132/mo ($397 per 90 days). Hair loss treatment works best started early: it protects the hair you still have more reliably than it regrows what's gone. Your provider recommends the form that fits how you'd rather take it.

What do men's health treatments cost?

Every medication is listed with its real price on the Men's Health page — per dose or monthly supply, with 3-month program totals shown. Nothing is charged until you've seen your total and said yes.

First responders

Will my department find out?

No. Discreet packaging. Your health information is protected under HIPAA, and we never contact your department or employer — ever.

Why a first-responder pathway?

Because our co-founder and Chief Medical Officer was a firefighter/paramedic before he was a physician, and he's cared for first responders his whole career. That door is here →

I'm a female first responder — is this for me too?

Yes. Same door, same care.

Privacy & billing

Is my information private?

Yes. Your health information is protected under HIPAA, shipping is in discreet packaging, and we never contact your employer. Details in our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice.

Do you take insurance?

No — Rese is cash-pay, which is how we keep prices flat and public instead of wrapped in prior authorizations. Many patients use HSA/FSA funds; we can provide documentation for reimbursement requests.

When am I billed, and how do renewals work?

You see your monthly price and your 3-month program total before you pay, and your first program is paid upfront — after that you have the option to order one month at a time. Your provider reviews your progress on an ongoing basis and, if appropriate, continues your prescription — dose adjustments never change your program price.

What if my package is lost or arrives damaged?

We'll make it right — replaced or refunded, your choice, at no cost. Prescription medication can't be returned once dispensed (pharmacy law), but our error is never your problem. Details in the Refund & Shipping Policy.

How do I stop?

In one step, from your account or by contacting us — a real person handles it, no retention script. Weight programs start with one 3-month program; everything after is one month at a time, ordered when you want it. Full terms in our Refund & Shipping Policy.

Where to send a question

I'm a patient with a medical question

Send it through your patient portal any time — a licensed provider responds there. That includes side effects, dose questions, and anything about how treatment is going.

I have a billing, shipping, or account question

Email support@resewellness.com and a real person will handle it. Support hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Arizona time (MST) — Arizona doesn't observe daylight saving, so that's MST year-round. You can write any time; we reply within one business day.

I'm not a patient yet and have a question

Write hello@resewellness.com, or see the Contact page. If you'd rather just find out where you stand, the assessment takes about ten minutes and a provider gives you an honest answer either way.

Something feels like an emergency

Trouble breathing, severe abdominal pain, or any symptom that feels urgent: call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Don't wait for us and don't wait for the portal.

Question we didn't answer?

Ask a human — or just start the assessment. Honest answer either way.
